KAY HARPER WILLIAMS

Kamaria (Kay) Harper Williams is a fearless trial lawyer and a partner at The Witherspoon Law Group, where she takes on complex wrongful death and serious injury cases. Her recent high-profile victories include a $158 million federal jury verdict in Missouri in 2024 for the family of a man killed on an Amtrak train, as well as a record-setting $105 million verdict against a Texas trucking company in 2023.

Before joining The Witherspoon Law Group, Williams ran her own firm for a decade, securing millions in compensation through fearless advocacy. Prior to founding her firm, she honed her skills at Gary, Williams, Finney, Lewis, Watson, & Sperando, a premier firm handling multi-million dollar cases, including wrongful deaths, catastrophic injuries, and class action lawsuits. Williams’s sharp legal acumen and tenacity make her a formidable presence in the courtroom; she’s not one to be underestimated.

Her commitment to justice extends beyond her legal career. In Jacksonville, Florida, she serves as Chairwoman of the Jacksonville Urban League Economic and Community Development Foundation. She also served on the Downtown Investment Authority, appointed by former Mayor Alvin Brown.
