ATTORNEY REFERRALS & LOCAL COUNSEL

Referring Attorneys, Co-Counsel, In-House Counsel, and Local Counsel. A significant portion of The Witherspoon Law Group’s practice comes through referrals and engagements from other attorneys. These matters often arise when conflicts exist, specialized expertise is required, or a case demands experienced trial counsel. We value these professional relationships and are committed to maintaining the confidence placed in our firm.

I. REFERRING ATTORNEYS
We respect the relationships between referring attorneys and their clients. Referring counsel are welcome to remain involved in the representation and, when the client permits, we provide regular status updates and work collaboratively throughout the matter.

II. CO-COUNSEL AND IN-HOUSE COUNSEL
The Witherspoon Law Group regularly works with co-counsel and in-house legal teams in complex litigation and dispute resolution. We bring extensive trial experience and a practical approach to resolving disputes through negotiation, settlement, or trial. Our role is to complement the broader legal team and advance the client’s objectives efficiently and effectively.

III. LOCAL COUNSEL
The attorneys at The Witherspoon Law Group are admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Arizona, Illinois, Missouri, Texas, and Florida.

As a minority-owned law firm, our engagement as local counsel can also support diversity objectives for organizations and law firms seeking broader representation within their legal teams. Beyond the procedural role typically associated with local counsel, we bring substantial first-chair trial experience in sophisticated litigation.

Our attorneys have handled high-profile matters that have received national media coverage, including by CBS, NBC, ABC, The Associated Press, CNBC, CNN, and MSNBC.
